2009 Ashridge GC Round 2 Results

Thank you to all the teams who took part in Round 2 at Ashridge Golf Club on Friday 10th July.
There were some excellent scores on a day when the greens were very quick with a number of the pins in very tough positions. David Smith from ICAP managed to shoot a very respectable 40 stableford points. Other notable performances came from Greg Thomas from ICAP who won the nearest the pin challenge and Mucha Murapa from Matrix Golf who secured the longest drive prize with a very accurate drive down the first hole. Both Greg and Mucha will receive a free £500 trading account from ETX Capital for their efforts.
In terms of the team competition, congratulations go to "City Golf & Health Clubs" who finished in 2nd place with 88 points and to the winning team "ICAP" who were victorious on the day with a superb total of 89 points.
Both teams will now join teams "Have we got news for you!" (Thomson Reuters) and "Trads Swingers" (Tradition) in The Grand Final which will be played on Friday 18th September 2009 on the fabulous Marquess Course at the prestigious Woburn Golf Club.
