Competition Format
The Banks and Brokers Golf Championship invite teams of four golfers to compete at two qualifying rounds. The top two scoring teams at each of these two events qualify to play in The Grand Final at Doonbeg Golf Course on Sunday 12th and Monday 13th September 2010.
This year's championship venues and dates are as follows:
- Qualifier 1: The Berkshire Golf Club - Wednesday 2nd June 2010
- Qualifier 2: Woburn Golf Club - Friday 9th July 2010
- Grand Final: Doonbeg Golf Course - Sunday 12th and Monday 13th September 2010
The competition and hospitality package at each event includes:
- Refreshments upon arrival
- 18 holes competitive golf competition:
- Teams of four
- Fourball "Stableford" scoring format
- 3/4 handicap (maximum handicap 24 for men and 36 for ladies)
- Top two scores to count on each hole
- 3-course buffet luncheon
- Other competitions and great prizes
- Event goody bag
Please note that evidence of a handicap certificate is required to play at any of the venues listed. EGU Society Handicaps welcome.
